With sensitivity in dealing with the surrounding area to avoid pollution, both sound and aesthetic, we have transformed functionality to forms, causing the coexistence of rational with organic. The form of the organic shell is derived by the rotation of the cleaning machinery which responds to the circular shape of the building block and protects the surrounding spaces (reception – cafeteria – offices etc.) which neighbor with the residential zone.
Tree planting along the length of the south side of the block creates a green filter, protecting the neighboring structures from possible noise pollution.
The general design aims in creating a unique and strong identity and a new model for this particular usage, in order to attract interest and subsequently a greater number of users.
